  3. Grandpa moves to passing lane.
  4. Ben signals and moves to his center spot in the formation in the left passing lane.
  5. Ben remembers to turn off signal.
  6. They all pass cars safely and within the speed limit.
  7. Grandpa (lead) turns on right blinker and communicates his intent on the CB (sometimes)
  8. Ben (middle) signals and moves to the right lane and assumes right 1/3 of lane

BURRRR!
8,000 Feet Elevation
50 degrees
Taos, New Mexico

Ben is beat up!
He has no protection from the heat or the wind or the cold!
The Kawasaki Vulcan 900 has no fer-rings, no vents, small windshield!
He shivered through church

We have unplugged all of the electrical that runs our heated jackets and it was just too much bother to stop and get everything set up.

Side Note
*Grandpa's Text Message*
"Church in Taos. Now we are on our way to Farmington but I don't know where we are??? Luckily we found gas. That is "gas" for the motorcycles. I have the other kind."
