WHAT I HAVE LEARNED

1. To avoid "Monkey Butt Head", take and use your own shampoo !!!
2. Drive like you are invisible.  People pulling out never see you. 
3. Statler Brothers music makes the miles more enjoyable.
4. Don't extend tire life.....new tires are cheaper than medical bills.
5. People see yellow motorcycles...most of the time.
6. Highway #1 in Maine has too many stops for my left leg.
7. My wife requires more fulfilling stops that 41 gas fill-ups  :-(
8. Expensive rain gear is worth it.  (Cheap red plastic shreds in a hail storm...and so does wife's patience)
9. Expensive electric jackets are worth it.... Tip: Don't try to make your own.. It's got a "Shooooort" in it!
10. Wives require official "potty" facilities, not barrow pits.
11. You can sneak money past your wife for the motorcycle, if you call it "Safety Chrome"
12. Alert !!!  Bike will blow over in a tornado.
13. GPS is not always reliable;  motorcycle does poorly on dirt roads through fences and cow pastures.
14. Metal grates on bridges always cause "Bum Pucker", as does going the wrong direction on one way streets.
15. I was tested for claustrophobia in the Chesapeake Bay Tunnel......I failed !!!!
16. On tight slow turns, the clutch is your friend.
17. I make too much money to sleep on the ground.
18. I will never drive through west Texas again.....awful, nasty place....but I love the people...
19. If I take a grandchild I can go on more trips....plus one-on-one-time is awesome.
20. Working on motorcycle in the house on blue tarp works best when wife is not home..
