Imagine this: Traveling in the center lane - on the freeway outside of Seattle, Washington - going 70 miles per hour - reminiscing about our great adventure - then the trailer begins to wobble and shake! The cars behind us honk and slow down allowing us to drag our one-flat-tire trailer to the shoulder. Thank goodness the flat was on the right, outside tire which made it relatively safe to change. So with cars whizzing by, three-feet away, we made the change in record time. Moral of the story is: Don't carry your spare under the trailer as suggested or designed or you will have to unload both bikes to get at the spare which may have been dragging for quite some time.
